Web Designers Hosting was started in June of 2006 after a merge
of a two reseller owners under seperate accounts, on two different servers.
The descision was made after the founders were exhausted from efforts of
trying to maintain quality service to clients they hosted under reseller
accounts, due to the lack of control over main components of the server
itself.
They soon puchased thier own server, and started hosting existing clients
under the name of TDIV. Since then the company decided to go under the name
you see now Web Desingers Hosting.
The main goal of this hosting company was to simply provide qaulity hosting
for clients with not a huge pocketbook. We have exceptional service from our
team of sales associates, service techs, and forum administrators
thierselves.
We do however know that we are not the cheapest in the market but we strive
to be the best, which we think is a difference in hosting companies.
Our team can assemble you a customized web site to fulfill your every dream
or desires as far as designing tastes, or simply give you fast reliable
service as tools to let your imagination grow into something that would only
come from designing a site of your own. The possibilities are only limited
by what you limit them to.
We truly know that each web site that we host is not just a web site to our
client, nor is it to us. We consider them (just as our clients do) a
playground of the mind, and imagination that is truly an extension of the
designer/owner of that site
Just a few helpful pointers for people who are comparing pricing and
plans.
1.) Don't be fooled by the people who say you can have un-metered space
and bandwidth. Its just a smoke and mirrors sales trick. Where not here to
blow smoke we are here to provide quality hosting at a fair price. So when
you see a host that says you can have Un-metered/Unlimited if you host with
them remember it just means there not going to watch it but if you get to
high they will shut you down. Un-metered/Unlimited is a dream everything has
a limit.
2.) Cheaper hosting 99% of the time means cheaper service and hosting on
a cheaper server. Is it really worth paying a lower amount to be on a slower
server that is always having issues staying online? We don't think so. Which
is why we put money back into our servers to make sure they are top notch
and run faster then most servers out there.
3.) It's never a good idea to host with the person who dose the ipb/php
work on your site. If for some reason you ever decide to switch designers
most of the php/ipb people are just installers and don't really know what
there doing but make most of there money off of charging people to fix and
build things on there ipb/php sites. So when you switch to a different
designer they drop your hosting. Now we're sure if you have ever owned a php
based site you know that if they drop your hosting before you can get a back
up you have to start all over again. Not something we would enjoy. Its
always good to find a host who is not involved completely on the running's
of your site, and always make a different user name and password for your
designer then from your main account info. (If you have an html designed
site like we design for our clients all you have to do is download the site
and you can always upload it where ever you want with out the worries of
php/sql.)
4.) It's never a good idea to host with someone just cause there name is
known well on a messenger program like yahoo. Look for a host who's not
messed up with the drama of messenger programs and is interested more in
providing a quality place to host that's going to be there for you in the
years to come. Most of what we call "Yahost" are simply doing hosting to
help pay there bill so they don't have to. Once there done with there site
or there messenger "life" they close everything down and make there clients
look for another host. Most of you have probably dealt with someone like
this in the past who closed there hosting cause there sick of the "drama" or
are just "to stressed out" These people are not hosts. There just fly by
night people looking to make a quick dolor and once they realize there is
actual work in hosting they take off leaving there customers to fend for
them self's.
5.) Make sure your dealing with the server owner. We own and maintain
multiple servers. If you have issues you will be dealing directing with us.
With allot of hosts out there your dealing with a reseller. When you have
issues you have to get with them and then they have to get with the server
owner. Who wants to deal with the middle man?
